Vinterkalas/Winter Celebration takes place during the darkest but also the most candle-lit time of the year from All Saint’s Day until Twelfth Night.
”It’s wonderful!” says Hannu enthusiastically. “By three o’clock in the afternoon it’s already evening and then you can get busy cooking.”
Together with his friends Barbro and Kåre Hellström, Hannu has filled Vinterkalas/Winter Celebration with recipes for lots of people or just one or two: Red November parties with warming soups, fish and delicious stews. Advent with Christmas longing and glögg parties. Cake Sunday with more than seven delectable varieties.
