You just can’t have too many small winter warmers! As early as September, you might need to pull out a pair of mittens or wrist-warmers and when it gets really cold you will need warm socks, hats and scarves all at once.
In Johanna Wallin’s new book with more than 60 knitting projects, she takes inspiration from settings and the natural surroundings that most of us live in. She knits on four different themes: the beach, the forest, the garden and the city. The result is beautiful items for all sorts of weather and all sorts of moods!
Each chapter contains several sets of knitting patterns, each with 3-5 projects, such as matching mittens, hat, scarf and wrist warmers. The sizes are given in each project, and there is information on yarns, the amount of yarn needed, knitting needles and accessories. Every project is explained clearly in text and pictures, and it is easy to follow – even for a beginner!
