The opposite is ‘too much’: we eat too much, stress too much, work too much, shop too much, and so on. We live in a time when our lifestyle has made us ill and depressed. That is why Wabi Sabi feels so right today. Wisdom is a key word within Wabi Sabi. Rest, reflection and presence are other keywords (this is called ‘mindfulness’ with a modern concept).
