Det som inte dödar oss

The Girl in the Spider's Web

by David Lagercrantz

The Millennium Magazine has changed owners. Malicious rumours are calling Mikael Blomkvist a has-been and he is considering change of career.

Lisbeth Salander is restless. She partakes in a hacker attack for no apparent reason and is taking risks she would typically avoid. This is not like her.

Late one night Blomkvist receives a call from Professor Frans Balder,
a leading authority on AI research. Balder claims to have critical information on US Intelligence and he has been in contact with a young female super hacker, who resembles someone Blomkvist knows all too well.

Mikael Blomkvist is hoping for the scoop that both he and Millennium so badly need. Lisbeth Salander has her own agenda as usual. In Det som inte dödar oss/The Girl in the Spider's Web the tale continues. The time has come for their paths to cross yet again.

The Girl in the Spider's Web was designated as one of the year’s best thrillers in 2014 by the magazine Esquire, and nominated to the 2016 Petrona Award in the category of Best Scandinavian Crime Novel of the Year in 2016. The movie rights are held by Sony.
