Just a Shadow

by Maria Lang

When Puck Bure comes home after a trip abroad, she finds a woman in her home – strangled and drowned in the bathtub. How the woman had gotten into the Bure family home and who had murdered her is a mystery, but the unfamiliar set of keys on the table is a clue.

After an investigation, it turns out that the keys belong to the Library of Humanistics, where the dead had been a member of a circle of ambitious academics who between the shelves and the desks had gotten lost in love, envy and jealousy.
One of them must be the killer.
