Borås Tidning’s Debut Prize to Stina Stoor
Stina Stoor’s collection of short stories Bli som folk/Beasts and Other Stories has been awarded the Borås Tidning’s Debut Prize.
Stina Stoor is the 16th recipient of this award which is the largest Swedish literary award focused on debutants, established in 2001.
The jury’s comment: “For unique and creative short story writing with a scent of Västerbotten and car freshners”

Stina Stoor was born in 1982 and lives in Balåliden in Northern Sweden. She was earlier this year awarded the Katapult Debut Prize, by The Swedish Writers’ Union. Her literary debut was also shortlisted for the August Prize for Best Fiction in 2015.
