Hetekivi Olsson Nominated for Literary Prize
Eija Hetekivi Olsson is shortlisted for the Svenska Dagbladet Literature Prize 2016, for her novel Miira.
The Svenska Dagbladet Literature Prize is a Swedish literary award given by the newspaper Svenska Dagbladet annually since 1944, to a recently published, promising Swedish author in progress. The winner will be announced in November.
Eija Hetekivi Olsson was born in 1973 and Miira is her anticipated and greatly demanded sequel to Ingenbarnsland/No Child’s Land, published by Norstedts in 2012. Ingenbarnsland was awarded the Katapult Prize for best debut, along with several other prizes, and was also shortlisted for the August Prize and Swedish Radio’s Novel Prize. Film option and theatre rights are sold.
