Agnes Lidbeck's Supporting Act has been named the winner of Borås Tidning's Debutant Prize, which has been awarded annually since 2001 to an authorship that has the potential of becoming significant and influential. The jury advocated their choice with the following statement: "a razor-sharp novel about the consequences for a woman who finds herself amidst the female Trinity: mother, lover and nurse."
