Moa Herngren's recently published novel The Divorce has been named as one of the twelve contestants for the Book of the Year Award 2022 with the following motivation: An enduring domestic drama where the pages turn themselves.
The award, launched by Bonnier's book clubs in 2016, is an annual prize presented to a novel with a broad appeal and with a high linguistic quality. The book club editors are in charge of the nominations and after that the readers can cast their votes until the middle of September. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony in October.
