Christer Wijk has fallen in love. He has met the beautiful Gabriella Malmer, and Puck and Eje have been invited to their engagement party at the Malmer Manor in Rödbergshyttan, in the heart of the Swedish countryside.
But Gabriella’s relatives don’t seem very pleased with the engagement. Nor are they happy with Gabriella’s little sister’s choice of companion. When Fredrik Malmer, grandfather of the clan, exclaims that he intends to rewrite his will the atmosphere turns even more sour.
