The Darkman
When a rapist with a specific modus operandi brings fear to Landskrona, Harriet and her colleagues are assigned to the case. What the others don’t know is that Harriet has gained access to several old cases with a connection to the new crimes. She quickly realises that the earlier investigations have been sabotaged and everything points to her own team.
On a personal level, Harriet’s relationship with Rikard is still strained and her charming colleague Elias gives her cryptic hints. But soon there is little time to contemplate romance, as her father Eugen becomes seriously ill. At the same time as the investigation intensifies, Harriet tries to find out who may be helping him on the inside. The truth turns out to be more surprising than she expected.
Anna Bågstam, born 1977, works as a lawyer at the Swedish Parliament. She lives with her family in a suburb outside of Stockholm.
