The jury for Svenska Dagbladet’s Literature Prize has revealed this year’s shortlisted candidates and we are proud to share that both Agnes Lidbeck and Balsam Karam are among them. Lidbeck is shortlisted for Nikky’s Book and Karam for The Singularity, which is also currently shortlisted for the August Prize.
The literature prize has been awarded to a promising and thriving Swedish authorship ever since 1944 and previous winners include writers such as P O Enquist, Johannes Anyuru and Lina Wolff. This year’s winner will be announced in December.
